FINALLY!!!
I promised myself today that I would finally color one of my multi-character sketches. I've never actually colored any of my "cover art" type sketches before, and here's my first attempt at it... ;A; I was aiming for something Mutsumi Inomata-type, because doing something like Fumi Ishikawa is still beyond me and my style...

Anyway, As promised in my past journal, i've finally posted another original series of mine, Tales of Calamity! From the name itself, it's based in the similar universal laws as the Tales series, as well as their skills and mythology...

Tales of Calamity
The power of the soul RPG
Synopsis: Ferteria is a world divided into two. The lush flora and fauna of Andeluze regions and the bustling rural areas of the Homme regions. Slowly but surely, the Homme regions are expanding due to the recent industrialization brought about by their King, Lord Alfonse Haglaz. Magic and Science coexists in this era.
The story begins with Vali Holdren, a mercenary-for-hire who was just recently employed to do a job at the royal palace for guard duty. As the rite of succession was to take place. Things go sour however when a mysterious armored being with long crimson hair interrupts the whole ceremony, having stolen a royal heirloom, A sword named The Bloody Fang. Announcing himself as "The Chaos Butterfly" to all in attendance, he slays the king and runs out of the palace. His motive remains unclear, but this leaves the palace in disarray.
A few weeks later, rumors of several appearances of the Chaos Butterfly have begun to circulate around Ferteria. His motive, unclear, Vali doesn't seem to mind or care, until something happens...
Characters: (in order of appearance on picture, going clockwise from middle)
Vali Holdren (middle) - Age: 20. Mercenary-for-Hire. He freely works anywhere in Ferteria, as long as he gets paid. He doesn't really care for current events, and just works to keep himself alive. He apparently has no family to speak of, as he doesn't seem to want to remember things like that. His weapon are twin swords. Luina Vane - Age: 18. Gypsy extraordinaire. An apprentice dancer from a gypsy troupe traveling around Ferteria. She has a knack for finding things, and apparently believes in good luck charms too. She attribute most of her victories with luck. She is generally a kind girl, but don't hurt animals in front of her. Her weapon are twin fans. Miravelle Dusknight - Age: 22. Eccentric Adventurer. A happy-go-lucky type of woman, she's very positive about many things. She tends to go overboard with whatever she says and does, which often leads her to accidents. She's very loyal though to her friends, and will protect them no matter what. Despite her personality she is very skilled with a sword. Her weapon is a short sword. Antoneil Veles Leifren - Age: 24. Shamanic Playboy. A rather perverted man who lives for the moment. All he really cares about are getting what he wants and what he needs and is not afraid to do anything that comes to mind to get it. He is a flirt who happens to be very good at manipulating people. Despite this, he is skilled with magic, though it may not be noticeable, as he comes from a long line of shamans. He just... ran away from that responsibility though... His weapon is a Bo Staff. Erin Merced - Age: 14. The Sorceress' Apprentice. A girl who talks in a way beyond her years. This is not because she is a prodigy, but because her teacher, a great magician, speaks through her crystal ball. She is mostly shy and reserved, but follows everything her teacher tells her to do, including doing errands... Her weapon is the magic she projects from the crystal ball, and she equips cloths to hold the ball.
Chaos Butterfly. A mysterious figure who, as his name suggests, has caused chaos in places around Ferteria. His aim is unknown. Hansel Lorrine. Child Prodigy. Age: 16. A smart child works at the Ministry of Education. He's apparently very gifted and managed to graduate early. He has only but a few friends, and always spends his time doing research and adult matters. He has but recently taken some classes in magic, at the advice of his mother, and seems to be excelling at healing magic. He is annoyed however that he has apparently no talent in using dark magic. His weapons are magic projections from books.--
